I heard something today about an episode in 1960 in which about twenty scientists working for the Soviet Union were testing a neutron bomb in anticipation for a nuclear attack on the U.S. in the next month. The testing failed and after the scientists waited and left their protective bunker the bomb went off, killing them all and setting back the program some 25 years. Anyone else heard about this?
