Today in 1953, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were executed for their part in the transfer of atomic secrets to the Soviet Union. A few years ago I heard a radio show where one of the descendents of the Rosenbergs defended Julius and Ethel. I believe he said that they were not actually guilty of transferring atomic plans. Would anyone care defend the Rosenbergs? Were they used as scapegoats during the Red Scare of the 1950s?
