I stumbled across the following site:The 50 most interesting articles on WikipediaCheck it out sometime if you have some time to burn. I checked out a few of them from the beginning and they are quite intriguing, such as Vela Incident, the 1958 Tybee Island B-47 crash, and War Plan Red (the U.S. war plan against Great Britain).
I thought these were pretty neat too. United States Numbered Highways, United States Color-coded War Plans, Fairy chess piece. I have played chess since I was around 8 or so and though I had heard of fairy pieces I have never seen such an in-depth discussion of them.
