That's pretty neat, although the title of the article is a bit misleading because it wasn't actually for the army. Still, I whether a cheap version of a multi-tooled fork/knife was ever mass produced for the military.
That is pretty cool. I have carried a Swiss army knife since I was about ten and am currently on my second. It will have to be replaced soon because the blade is getting little thin from repeated sharpenings.
