Halloween recipe and a ghoulish story          Some of the information in the article above might be based more on lore than on actual history, but in any case it's interesting to learn about the history of Halloween this time of year.  One modern development that is interesting to me is the demographic changes over the past 50 years or so.  From what I understand it was considered to be more of a "children's" holiday in the 1950s (possibly through the 70s), but today adults participate in the holiday almost as much as kids do.
