I was thinking in line of things that may or may not be controversial depending on how you view them and how they are inturprated in todays PC climate. for instance the Confedrate flag. Or calling the U.S. government's policy toward American Indians 'genocide'. What do you think? can you think of any other historical controversy's?
I was unaware of any controversy regarding the treatment of American Indians and “genocide”. What's this all about?
Some refer to the governements policy towards indians as genocide. I know they could have done an infinate better job in their dealings but I think genocide is a bit extreme. I think theres a book out called a little matter of genocide, about it. I will google it and see if I can get the particulars.
