I found this site as a Yahoo Pick and have added it to our links section: the 10 Most Notorious Presidential Pardons. It's interesting, alright, and I didn't even realize that Patty Hearst had been pardoned by Bill Clinton. Your thoughts on these pardons?
Not all of those are notorius. As to the south: what aree you going to do? Put an entire nation in prison? The whiskey rebels are no differnt. The nation was young and going through some growing pains. They (the nation) had just rebelled, so it seemed like a good idea at the time. 😀
