Administrative Note – Upgraded/Restored Forum

Hi folks,If you've been keeping up with my forum updates over at Christian-Legacies.com while WCF was down, you know that my hosting service had some problem, and when it was fixed it left something broken on this forum.  Fortunately, on about the same day the forum went down I had backed up the database in anticipation of upgrading the forum, meaning most of the content has been saved.  I think the only missing messages will be ones which were posted Saturday evening.Anyway, I apologize for the delay in getting things back up.  On the bright side, I upgraded the forum to the newest version which will enable me to potentially add new features in the future.  You might notice some minor visual changes that I have yet to restore, but they will be minor.Please check to make sure you can access, reply, post messages correctly.  I may have to change some settings to bring us all back up to speed, but it would help if I knew that someone was having problems.  Thanks.

What happened to the pictures for unread topics?  The little icons are gone now when a board has unread posts.

It went away after I did the upgrade.  I will need to reinstall that to get it looking good again.  Also, I will need to install an add-on which prevents spammers from posting because I see they're coming back now.

I am able to log on from school, but not at home.  I think I messed something up on my computer, or it might be my hosting company.  But I can't log on, and can't check e-mail linked to my sites.  It's aggravating, whichever the case.  I'll try to get to the bottom of it.Thanks for all your patience.  Thanks for posting the update, Wally.

BTW, if you see spam, please report it to me and to Donnie as well in the immediate future because of my computer access problems (one of us should be able to deal with it swiftly). Kind of like one of those situations like an interim ruler who rules when the sovereign is out of the country.  Think of me as "King Richard" off on a crusade, and Donnie as King John.  ;D
