    Does anyone know off the the top of your head any good Ancient Egypt historians?  Not really talking about Ptolemaic Egypt, mostly the Old Kingdom and stuff like that.Just looking for a general but good book on history of Egypt.

    I would not be able to tell you.  Why the interest in the Old Kingdom?

    I just want to.  And I think a little background in Egyptian history would help increase my knowledge of Greek history.
