Me too, I always like to wait until the price of new tech drops. I would feel like a tool right now if I had sunk $8,000 or $9,000 dollars on a plasma a few years ago and now they go for half or even less of that. I still have a tube Tv but it is analog so i am going to have to upgrade soon.
I have a rear porjection I got for a song when they were being cleared out for the new fangled plasmas.
My issue is that now that I live in Europe I have to get a multi-system Tv since the captains of industry have seen fit to use different broadcast standards throughout the world.
I have had my Vista machine for a year and it has never locked up on me. I have had problems with IE7 but not Vista.
Speaking of Internet Explorer, the beta version of IE8 is available for download for those who want to try it out. Internet Explorer is so slow on my computer regardless of version that I haven't taken IE8 for too long of a test drive, but it is supposed to be faster.http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/beta/default.aspx
I finally jumped on the Firefox bandwagon because it's faster (I need that on satellite), it has a download helper for videos like Youtube stuff (going to be handy for Rifletube), and a screen grabber (which will be helpful for Gunsandall software tutorials).
