I want to eventually take “Introduction to Islam”, however that is a 300 level course. Before I even think about it, should I take the 100 and 200 level “Intro to World Religion” courses first?I'm glad the terrorism courses are 100 level and up. Can't wait to start those!!I experienced my first "C" on an exam. Took 4 already; 100,100, 100, 75. What a bummer. 🙁 The exam was about University policy, procedure, rules, etc. Lessons learned: Take it seriously while studying for it. Just because something doesn't apply to you, doesn't mean it's not going to be a question on a test, so learn it and know it anyway. :-
Yes, I think an intro to world religions course would probably be best for now. It will probably cover Islam's expansion from a broad perspective which will help you in your more specialized course on that topic.

What Phid said. You need the survey course before you get specific, but I'm sure you could handle it fine.
Perhaps they're presented in such a way that they can be learned on their own. In my experience, many upper level classes probably can be taken without prerequisites, even if prerequisites are required. However, this might entail a greater amount of struggling and scattering around to learn about concepts that have been covered in another class. Even so, you could still probably pass those courses. If you're trying to get a solid education and good grades at the same time, taking prerequisites even when they're not required is generally a good idea. This will give you a more complete education and which will help you with your learning in the long term.
