Socrates?
Boom!Aetheling: 1Skiguy: 1Donroc: 1Socrates it is! Perhaps that was too easy? There are two Socrates portrait-types (A and B), with the one above as Type B. It originated in the late 4th century with a portrait done by the sculptor Lysippos. Socrates is depicted in line with accounts of him by Plato and another writer - he looks somewhat ugly, rounded cheeks, long triangular beard, high forehead...this is actually an aesthetic improvement over the Type A Socrates portrait, which seems to depict him to look kind of like a satyr. Anyway, congrats donroc!
