ParticipantIf we posted those books, that would be copyright infringement and we would be criminally liable. How about you buy them on Amazon instead:The Darker Side of the Renaissance: Literacy, Territoriality, & Colonization, 2nd Edition [Paperback]Walter Mignolo (Author) University of Michigan Press; 2 edition (October 7, 2003) $23.89Marvelous Possessions: The Wonder of the New World [Paperback]Stephen Greenblatt (Author) University Of Chicago Press; 1 edition (October 15, 1992) $17.10That is only $40.99 and Amazon will ship in the US for free. If you buy them, they will be yours forever and you wont be advocating criminal activity. ;D

ParticipantOr you can join questia if they have them and sign up for $20/month or less for a quarter, or much less/month for a year.

KeymasterI'm not even sure how one would “post” these books…it's not as if people here have libraries of published books on their computers! But here is an option, if you just want to read a few pages. Try Google Books – one of the history scholar's best friends, in my opinion:

ParticipantQuestia posts complete books — thousands of them. So does full books (free) for older literature.

True – I have had a Questia account for the past few years and I have found it to be a tremendous help. But I think the original poster wanted the book electronically sent to him/her, which isn't possible. The poster would have to sign up for a Questia account and pay the fee. Incidentally, I have been tempted in the past to buy the lifetime Questia membership, but I think it costs either $300 or $400. Instead, I've just gone for the yearly memberships at $100 a year.

Participantthx 4 ur replies, but i stay in india , hence all the available means u have advised is pretty expensive for a student …but anyway thanks

KeymasterAeneas, can I ask why you need these books in particular? If you're going to a university in India, you can sometimes have books delivered to your university's library by way of inter-library loan.
