Came upon this interesting article about a guy who carved ice blocks out of a frozen pond then sold and transported it all over the world. Frederic 'The Ice King' Tudor So much history in Boston! (and a lot more ice tomorrow as well ??? )
That's a great American success story – an individual with an idea, taking risk, and having determination to see it through even when things don't go his way.
I think it's interesting that he was able to transport it from Boston to India. He had to cross the equator at some point.
