Just FYI – the people posting comments on book reviews lately are spammers. They had me fooled at first because the posts are on topic and short but intelligent. A tip off, though, was that they both had “seo services” links in their signatures, and both IP addresses were originating in Asia. I did a search for some of the text that they wrote, and although it was not all copied from the same source, they did copy and paste lines from Amazon book reviews. That's why they sounded so intelligent. ;DI'm guessing these are human spammers, perhaps working from some Chinese or Thai boiler room, who have to copy and paste all their posts individually. That makes them harder to catch.I erased the links in their signatures and will delete their post content after people see what we're up against. 😉
Thanks for the heads up. The one that fooled donnie on Ski's Book Review had me fooled too until I scrolled further down the page. They are getting pretty slick now arent they?
I must be slipping. The enemy has adjusted his tactics, so we too shall adjust. 🙂
