It could be. black propaganda was prevalent on both sides in both world wars. The mix of ethnic dehumanization and practical tips on survival in combat looks similar to other material I have seen. Then again, it could be completely faked. Some of the pictures do look a little staged and too sharp, especially the ones showing them dragging a japanese corpse out of the sand on Iwo Jima.
