One of the more practical inventions, I must say. May he rest in peace.
Shepherd-Barron once said that he came up with the idea of the cash dispensers after being locked out of his bank. He also said that his invention was inspired by chocolate vending machines.
It sure makes it easier to access funds in my US bank while overseas. All in all, probably one of the most useful inventions of the last 50 years.
I am happy for him that his invention got useful and recognize as there are a lot of inventors die in vain when their invention has no use for their time, like the Laser, and there are many inventions out there are the same. He?s invention has really help us in our daily lives, we don?t have to queue up like how it was during the old days, and everything is faster, online, and more secured. Thank god he came across vending machines.
