Remember the western with Bronson and the Samuriai (sp)?  I got to thinking about how an ancient Japenese warrior would do against a North American Grizzly bear.  At first, I though it would depend upon who surprised whom.  Head to head, though, I think the man that is really good with one of those amazing cutting edges is going to make anything on earth think twice about a second attack, after the probable loss of a limb.Close in, a really good long knife is better than a gun.What do you folks think?HF
