When I turned guest posting on I figured it might increase. Since guests from CL seem to have stopped posting anyway, I guess I'll just turn it off.

It may be easier to detect in person, especially if I can say it in that slight English accent of Sir Alec Guinness.
Speaking of Sir Alec..I am recording Bridge over the river Kwai in the next couple of days, I've never seen it.
It is in AFI's top 100. I downloaded there list and checked off all the ones I have already seen and am now trying to work through all of them. There are a few I dont look forward to, A few I have seen and wondered why they were on the list at all.

I thought, though, that the AFI list was fairly good. At least I recall seeing the list (when it was released some years ago) and I too looked through it and I think I tried watching some of the movies there that I might not otherwise see. There were movies such as Bonnie & Clyde and some others that I saw. I can't remember which ones, though.
They just updated the list (tenth anniverary) a few months ago. There were 18 new movies that wernt on the list the first time around. A few Charlie Chaplin movies were added. and of course a few that had come out since the last list. They also have a list of the 400 hundred movies that were considered. Have any of you ever seen a movie called 'A Face in the Crowd' with Andy Griffith? An absolutly brilliant movie that should have made the list.
