KeymasterWell, this is the final week of the semester for me. I need to finish two papers and a journal by the end of this week. Can I do it? ;DOne of the papers deals with the adoption of a Christian architectural form that was based on an imperial Roman form, and the other deals with the adoption of a certain pose in a medieval painting that I argue was taken from a Roman type. Anyone else finishing up their studies very soon?

ModeratorTwo weeks left. Got a paper due this coming weekend and a 3 essay (500 words/ea) final due the 26th. That is in addition to about 200 pages of reading and a short written assignment on that reading. Oh yeah, all this plus I haven't even started Christmas shopping yet. No stress at all. 😛 😮

ParticipantI miss the stress. Soon perhaps I will have to endure it again.

ParticipantI have two 20 page papers due in the next two weeks. One I am almost done with and the other I haven't even started yet. I have finished my Christmas shopping though, so I guess I am one up on you Ski ;D. My wife made me go with her this past weekend.

ModeratorQuestion: when you all get this busy, do you sometimes forego food and hygiene? With me, by the third day of intensive paper writing, I tend to look and probably smell like a bum. (good thing I live alone)

Hopefully they're all multiple choice, eh? (at least for purposes of grading)

I probably intake more food during such times. I also forgo working out since it eats up valuable time, and in turn I feel generally less healthy. Another thing that suffers is order in my room. I have library books stacked up in different places and my place looks messy. Once everything is done I have to load everything up to return it all to the library. On a camel, if you can believe it.

Not at all: no multiple choice allowed: think, synthesize, make... 1/3 knowledge, 1/3 know-how (document identification, map analysis) and 1/3 competence (arrow graph about social order in the Middle Ages and/or a timeline) :-[ Wanna try ? I've checked it all, still warm* for another copy 8)*hot

KeymasterWhat do you mean exactly? You have copies of the test you gave your students and want to see if we want to take a stab at it? Sure, if that's ok, I'm sure we'd love to try.

KeymasterIf anyone here is currently working/just finished a term paper, please write your working title here. I'm just curious to see what we've got here.

ParticipantTwo:1. The Origins of the First World War2. Is Man Divine Alone?: The Origins of the Theory of Natural LawMy last two papers before I start writing my Theses, Yay!!! ;D I enjoyed writing the first paper more than the second, I generally can't stand phiolosophy in any shape even though I recognize it's importance.

ModeratorThe title is usually the last thing I do based on the final product, but right now I'm leaning towards:The Anglo-Norman Invasion of Ireland from the times of Dermot MacMurrough to the Treaty of Windsor

Participant... I generally can't stand philosophy in any shape even though I recognize it's importance.
