Maybe my pick record will stay good and now I know how the confidence points work.
I am sad now because OU did not make the pick list this week.I fully expect Alabama to destroy A&M and not only because the Aggies bounced from the Big 12 in a fit of pique.
Well I picked Boise over Air Force with all 20 confidence points, but at halftime Boise is only ahead by 4 points. If they lose, I may take a tumble in our league rankings.
They didn't.
I don't know how you're doing it, but so far you've picked every single game for this week except for one…!
My problem is I don't give the proper number of confidence points or I would be dominating this game.
Well I was robbed when they postponed the Fresno State-Colorado game because of the floods. I had 14 confidence points riding on that game, and unless I get credit for that game, it looks like I may lose all 14 points. Other teams which had fewer points riding on that game didn't suffer so badly. So I am now out of first place in the league by, you guessed it, 14 points.
Yeah, I got 13 points riding on that game myself. What killed me was Wisconsin and Utah getting beat. I had 14 and 19 points on those two games.
So, which games are you picking for upsets this weekend? 😉
Ok, so we're in the final week of the Western Civ Forum Pick'Em. I am currently 36 points behind the leader, which basically means I cannot catch up (barring some unforgettable collapse) – there are simply too few games being played this weekend. I see Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State takes place on Saturday. The one upset I am picking is Memphis over Connecticut.
I think Mizzou and Stanford will both win and of course I am picking OU for the victory in the Bedlam Game but I am afraid they will lose.
Well you were the only one in our group to pick the OU upset. Good job.
I will always pick OU even if they have not won a game all year so it is not as if I had some special insight.
