    I have started giving my brother books connected with history as birthday gifts.  Lee and Grant was a hit.Any suggestions for George Washington?  The Revolutionary War?I want them to historically accurate, but above all they must be what a non-historian will consider readable.Thanks.

    It looks like there have been several GW biographies released in the past three years which have gotten good reviews.  George Washington: The Crossing by Levin and Levin might have potential.
