Warning – this post is only of mild historical interest and might only be of amusement to myself, but I had to say….Since I was a kid I've liked to read the encyclopedia, and with Wikipedia I can whittle away with time spent reading article entries. Just now I wandered from entry to entry based on my own unconscious curiosity. I started at my original destination of Italianate architecture to Boo Berry cereal via the following connection (along with what I found from the entries themselves):Italianate architectureItalianate Architecture[/wiki] - a style that began in England in the early 19th Century before spreading to America; became popular in the U.S. after the 1840sThe BreakersThe Breakers[/wiki] - the greatest piece of Italianate style, the Breakers was build by Mr. Vanderbilt and completed in 1895 in Rhode Island; eventually went to his youngest daughterGladys Vanderbilt Sz?chenyGladys Vanderbilt Sz?cheny[/wiki] - Vanderbilt's youngest daughter who married a Hungarian countCountCount[/wiki] - a title of nobility in Europe and other parts of the worldCount ChoculaCount Chocula[/wiki] - one of a series of monster-themed cereals produced by General Mills beginning in the early 1970sYummy MummyYummy Mummy[/wiki] - a newer addition to the General Mills monster cereal line which was discontinued in 1988Boo BerryBoo Berry[/wiki] - part of the same monster-themed cereal line which some people think is discontinued, although it is still available today
