ParticipantI actually went out and found the actual interview and read that and then read the Vatican clarification. He was either misquoted or is stupid or both. It aint progressives and their ilk that make up the folks going to Church every Sunday. Those folks are part-time Catholics at best. But you are right, this belongs in a separate thread.

ParticipantI don't believe that any ancient author ever gave any thought to the idea that they should be impartial or attempt objectivity when they wrote.

ParticipantDoes much that HuffPo puts up have a point?

ParticipantI generally use the YouTube generated embed code within the HTML tags and it works fine. An example is: (replace the parentheses in the html tag with square brackets)
(html)(/html)
That is the code I used below.

ParticipantIremember reading somewhere during the Frist Gulf War that the V2 had a smaller Circular Error of Probability than the Scud missiles Saddam was shooting a Kuwait and Israel.Incidentally, if you ever go to White Sands Missile Range they have one of the original V2s we confiscated at the end of the war in the rocket park at the installation museum.

ParticipantThat's kind of interesting to know. I'm curious as to how they directed the V1 and V2 exactly to their targets.
They pointed them in the general direction and let fly. The accuracy of the V1 and V2 was atrocius and they did pretty good to hit London. Both weapons had a crude gyroscope guidance system that could generaly keep them flying straight but that was about it.

ParticipantAshes to ashes ... I don't know if I must cry or if this is just what mankind is ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-23349744
That is a crying shame. While I may not appreciate all art I do admit that it all has value to someone and should be preserved.
