I've never even heard of those. Sounds like a neat thing for boys to get themselves in trouble with though. ;D Lord knows My “jnventions got me in trouble more times then I care to remember.
True, but anymore alot of reputable dealers are using ebay. I dont know how famieler you are with the site but the live auctions are usaully pretty safe as bidders and sellers have to meet certain criteria before they can use ebay. And as for the expense, the civil war is hot right now and there are alot of people out there with more money then they know what to do with.
June 9th, 1863 – In Virginia, the Battle of Brandy Station occurred. It was the largest cavalry battle of the war. Confederate General J.E.B. Stuart's cavalry held the field after being attacked by Union troops under General Alfred Pleasonton.
I always thought big government had it's start more during the FDR years, but your friend makes some good points that it's foundation was laid much earlier, good points about that and many other things, thanks for sharing.
I think Meade was right not to pursue Lee. His army was beat up and he didnt know the real condition of Lee's or how much of his artillery was still intact. I understand Lincolns zeal to end the war but after a battle like gettysburg Meade had to stop and regroup.

well, a humurous one goes,we understand, but other than that, how did you enjoy the play,Mrs Lincoln?  Also ring aroung the rosies is supposed to be reference to the black death.
I've heard that as well, many times. But I've also read that that is an urban legend, so who knows?
