We all have roots somewhere alse.
StumpfootParticipantI am reading a book by Robert Utley called “A life wild and perilous” about the mountain man era. Good book. He says that smith, had he not died so young would probably have done more to open up the west then Lewis and Clark. And looking at the maps of his several crossings of the continent, I think he was right.
StumpfootParticipantI think it also shows that you cant govern every human action, in the end people have to be repsonsible for themselves.

StumpfootParticipantThe Victory was a beautiful vessel. I have never seen it in person but I have seen many pictures. It was very large, but over 600? that is a lot.

StumpfootParticipantIt was also shown in the movie into the west, the mini series in TNT a couple years ago.
