Given that I focus almost exclusively on Military history in reading for pleasure, it is no wonder I have not heard of him.  Maybe one of you guys will read it and post a review?  I have several hundred military history titles but none that deal with Christian History exclusively, maybe the closest is 20 or so books on the Crusades.  Perhaps this is an area worth looking into, it would be interesting to learn more than contemporary history books tell us about the spread and history of Christianity.
