Hey I am a college student and i love history. (especially military history I am an army brat) I would like to write to the last WWI vet, how I could do so. i would like to know a few things one his stories. Two what he thinks of today, if he could tell the future children of the world, one thing what would it be and many more things so if you know how i coud do so let me know please!
I'm not sure how exactly you could write to them, but it looks like your options would be limited in any regard since they are really dwindling in number. There is one, possibly two U.S. veterans from WWI. There's also one from Canada residing in the U.S. as well.See the chart here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surviving_veterans_of_World_War_I#Verified_veterans_of_the_First_World_War.E2.80.9412_veteransActually, I see now that there's a contact form on Mr. Buckles' web site where you can reach him at:http://www.frankbuckles.org/By the way - welcome to the forum! 🙂
