Being that I have to work today I thought I would post this to wish all the Board members here at WCF a Merry Christmas. I would also as k that we all keep our deployed service members in our prayers. I am lucky this year and get to spend the Holidays with family but I remember how much it sucked to spend Christmas in Ad Dawr, Iraq a few years ago playing poker and having to go out the gate on a QRF mission. Nothing is as much fun as a firefight on Christmas day. ::)So, i hope you all have a Merry christmas and enjoy the time with your families.Patrick Shrier
And a Merry Christmas to you and your family as well! Indeed, our deployed service members should be in our prayers. My brother isn't deployed but is coming home from being stationed in Florida where he is training to defuse nuclear bombs, among other things. It will be nice to see him and his wife. I know that Germany has a long tradition with Christmas, but how is it celebrated in modern times? Is it given the same level of attention that it is in the U.S.?
Yes Merry Christmas to all and Happy Holidays. May the incoming year be more of a blessing than the past year has been.
