From his speech today in Cairo:
I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America's story. The first nation to recognize my country was Morocco(1). In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President John Adams wrote (2), "The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims."(3) And since our founding(4), American Muslims have enriched the United States. They have fought in our wars, served in government(4a), stood for civil rights, started businesses, taught at our Universities, excelled in our sports arenas, won Nobel Prizes, built our tallest building, and lit the Olympic Torch. And when the first Muslim-American was recently elected to Congress(4b), he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Koran that one of our Founding Fathers - Thomas Jefferson - kept in his personal library.

I have come to the conclusion that the worst thing that could happen is if someone were to assassinate this waste of breath. If he were assassinated he would become a martyr and his program would be guaranteed. He needs to live som he can be shown to be another Jimmy Carter. A mediocrity at best who in no way deserves to be president. It seems like his every move is calculated to enrage conservatives and realists alike. He is he best advertisements for milquetoast republicans there could be. I would gladly vote for the Worthless McCain to see that this clown does not get reelected. I am really starting to think we all should have voted for Ron Paul, at least he would not be selling America down the river like this guy is.
I'm just glad someone mentioned Obama's HUGE error about the Rennaisance and that Muslims played a big role in it, because the media sure didn't. I couldn't believe he said that. This guy is nothing but an idiot, but an idiot who has a great ability at propaganda and spectacle.

I totally agree !!! As a martyr every street that is not MLK Blvd would be Obama Blvd.
The thing that is calling me and putting the final nail in the coffin on my trust in the media is the fact that they are not calling him on his lies and half-truths. So much for the press being the public's watchdogs, they are showing themselves to be even more the democratic party's lapdogs. I just wonder what the end result is going to be. America is already one of the least free of the FREE countries. What is the country going to look like after 2 or 4 years of democratic control of government and could another party fix the damage if they got into office? I am starting to have my doubts.Obama's lies about history remind me very much of Goebbels and the Nazi propaganda ministry. Tell a lie but varnish it with the truth and most will believe you. That is exactly what Obama is doing. The Clinton State Department missteps are exactly the kind of thing Hitler's regime would have done as well. Where are the warning calls that history is repeating itself here? Instead of nationalism, Obama is aggressively promoting a sort of enviro-socialist agenda. That will be his pretext for military action. We have to conquer you because you are not being sufficiently protective of the environment or your population.
