I watch with bated breath the communist activities in Copenhagen. It's a strange feeling to know your ideological opponents are fighting amongst themselves. Protesters who seem to protest each and every international meeting are now doing their thing at the Copenhagen summit, seemingly disrupting the other leftists inside who could potentially force eco-regulations on the world.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNQqUACJ_KwDo we hope that the protesters cause enough havoc to prevent any regulatory catastrophe from emerging from this? Then again, I can't say I support the protesters in their plight in the least. The best thing is if they neutralize each other. A strange, but oddly intriguing development.
I don't think they are going to accomplish much even if the protesters were not there. The Indians and Chinese have pretty much already said they are not going to play ball. If anything, we will end up with another Kyoto Agreement that lacks teeth. This is like Health Care Reform, if we stall long enough it will die a natural death, hopefully.

Check the source: - VDO made by AforP - AforP stands for Americans for Prosperity http://americansforprosperity.org/about - Americans for Prosperity is a Washington D.C.-based conservative political advocacy group which describes itself on its Web site as "... an organization of grassroots leaders who engage citizens in the name of limited government and free markets on the local, state and federal levels." It was founded in 2004 by David H. Koch of Koch Industries. - David Hamilton Koch is an American engineer, billionaire and businessman. He is one of the co-owners and an executive vice president of Koch Industries: a conglomerate with major petroleum and natural gas holdings that is the second largest privately held company (after Cargill) in the United States.A neutral view about the UN Climate Summit in Copenhagen; just a bit surprised they didn't add some Imperial stormtroopers ! (just like they added the former USRR anthem... did you say machiavelism?)

So anything they make is not worth looking at? At least they acknowledge who has made it and a reasonably intelligent person should be able to infer that there is an agenda behind the video. If this guys is a hypocrite then what about Al Gore or many other celebrity greens? They are just as, if not more hypocritical than any conservative. As to the images in the video. Communism and Socialism are both failed systems, the only system that has consistently proven it can generate wealth is capitalism. Is it fair, of course not. But then, I learned that life is not fair when I was a child. I question the sanity of any supposed adult that thinks you can regulate fairness.Personally, I would like to see a return to mercantilism. At least the US is powerful enough to seize the resources we require and dispossess the current owners. I would take the Hobbesian view that in the mercantilist system the ends do indeed justify the means. People complain about America now, what would happen if we really used our power to seize what we wanted? 😛

True, the editor of the video may be biased, but the video doesn't contain much in terms of commentary to begin with. Yes, the music is meant to poke fun at the protesters, but even with the sound off the protesters in the video would speak for themselves. And yes, along the lines of what Scout was saying - how many of the European representatives in attendance are excited about GW regulations not so much because of how it would "save the planet", but because it would crush capitalism and U.S. global influence?Who is more dangerous - the group that wears its bias on its sleeve, or the one that keeps it hidden from public view while masquerading under another cover?
If they were right, no need to use that kind of propaganda based on a fears or that kind of nonsense evidence: soviets are dead ! Facts, scientific evidences can tell the truth. Did they bring any of them ? Who is behind the wheel and why? However it would be interesting to know to whom this message is sent, what kind of people are receptive to that kind of primal disinformation ! Did you ever see that kind of message from the opposite side ?Surprise me : what about Intelligent Design or the creation?evolution controversy ?

What does this have to do with global warming? Being taxed to death to pay for something that cannot be controlled by man and where there is no consensus that it actually is caused by man, and documented proof that the data was fixed, is an entirely different topic than the creation/evolution debate.

GW proponents use just as many scare tactics as its opponents. Scientific consensus is not scientific proof. The economic argument s probably the best to use against GW. Should developed countries collaborate in bankrupting themselves over a phenomenon that is poorly understood at best and that there is still considerable debate over whether it is occurring or not? I dont think so.
