VOTE NO on all RI (and any other state) bond referendums. What was the stimulus package for? Use that money instead. ;D
As a general rule, I vote against local requests to pass levies or raise taxes. The way I figure it, politicians usually haven't already tried hard enough to cut costs. It's probably a whole lot easier to hold your hand out to the public than it is to clean out your own house.

I usually follow the same policy. I figure politicians need to a very good job of explaining to me why they need higher taxes and cant wring more efficiency out of what they already have. That is a standard that is has only been met a couple of times to my satisfaction.
