For what it's worth:
More than 65 years after World War Two, Adolf Hitler's last surviving bodyguard says that he can no longer respond to the continuous deluge of fan mail he receives from around the world, because of his advanced age.
I would love to get a glimpse at the content of some of his “fan mail.”
In the article he says it's not “hate mail” at all. Still, I'm wondering if these are from Neo-Nazis or just from history buffs.
That is what I am getting at. I would not guess that hate mail writers would ask for an autograph. When I read he got fan mail I pictured the guy from the movie “Falling Down” who was so excited about having the can of Zyklon-B writing this guy.
