Explain how Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights Movement, Malcolm X promotion of Black Power, and the counterculture criticized or resisted power or authority.2.Compared to the Civil Rights movement and the anti-Vietnam War movement, the counterculture does not seem to many people to be a dissent movement. What were the Civil Rights, the anti-Vietnam War movements and especially the counterculture dissenting against? Then, how might we therefore say that the Hippies were dissenters or protesters?
