Ok, I'll give a word, and without looking up the definition, try to guess what it means. Just use the word itself to try to guess. Here we go:hypogeum

OK, but give me a few years when I take Latin. However, this seems to be more a Greek word than Latin. My guess for the second part (based on Greek) would be earth or ground, but that is assuming the Latin geum is equivalent to the Greek geo.Underground. Final answer.
And that would be….correct! A hypogeum is an “underground, pre-Christian temple or a tomb”. However, I have heard it used in a Christian context as well.
