We've studied history in some capacity here, and many of us have had advisors who have guided us along the way. Tell me – what has your relationship with your advisor(s) been like? Has it been a positive experience or a negative one?
Both. Most of the time positive though as they are only trying to help students achieve their academic goals.

Brutally honest. LOLAll I ever did was tell them what I wanted to do and they flipped through the schedule to see how the best way to go about doing it. I usually did what they suggested.
I have almost always had positive experiences with my advisors. My best advisor was a former instructor that I have developed a friendship with after taking the class with him. He has alwys been available for me to bounce ideas off of.
