The Library of Virgina as part of the Civil War Sesquicentennial has a cool new site up with a searchable datatbase of primary documents they have digitized. They are sending researchers throughout the state to digitize and preserve documents. It is mostly letters and diaries but is very interesting and an easy way to get swallowed bby the internet when you are supposed to be working. The site is Virginia Memory
