Pretty cool. It is always interesting looking at pictures from the Civil War. The first multimedia war.
Uhg… too bad this is The Atlantic… a more liberal rag is hard to find…I'll look at the photos but I had patronizing their Marxist website... I posted a clear, concise rebuttal to an article and because I didn't "rah, rah, rah" the author and his liberal nonsense I was banned from commenting... A brief view shows these are pretty common pictures... awesome, no doubt, but I'll view them elsewhere...

I got you both beat, I have been banned from Wikipedia 3 separate times. Twice for arguing with the Wikigods over historical interpretation. Have I ever mentioned that I despise historical revisionism? I am keeping my current wikipedia username a secret 😀

These pictures are just absolutely stunning. It's stuff like this that gets me all excited about history.
