Yeah, I tried it today but for some reason the .png does not render when I put it into the header.
Just rename it to whatever image was there to begin with (in the same folder of course). For example if your old image is a logo.gif, just rename it to logo.gif and overwrite the old image. Your theme might have an option to upload a new logo, but it might force you to crop it. I would just manually replace the old file.
I played with it in Paint and got it to work. It is up on the site now. Thanks for your help, I suck at graphics. But I am a pretty good shot and that is what counted in my chosen career.
The thing with that logo on Patrick's blog is that it looks like it was vertically stretched a bit, including the font. The wheels on the cannons look like eggs rather than circles. Was this on purpose?
You know now that you mention it, I guess I did make the wheels too eliptical. The wheels were kinda hard to make. Inkscape is great but it does have some quirks. I might try creating one in Illustrator since I have CS4 now.
