    Heinrich von Kleist, who was partially involved in the 20 July Plot to assassinate Hitler, has passed away at age 90.  He was also slotted at one point to blow up Hitler with a suicide jacket, but that project did not take place.http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/mar/12/hitler-assassination-plotter-von-kleist

    How is it he has survived all these years?  Why didn't Hitler kill him during the war?

    According to the article, he was questioned after the bomb attempt and then put into a concentration camp, and inexplicably freed after some time.
