This site has a few factoids about the war. Like this one:
Over 360,000 soldiers from the United States of America lost their lives in this war, most of them succumbing to diseases. Only one-third of the casualties were due to wounds while the remaining two-thirds died due to diseases. The most common diseases that affected soldiers during the Civil War were typhoid, malaria, pneumonia, dysentery, arthritis and even malnutrition.

I did not find the facts interesting. Indeed, his list of factoids actually appears to be a selected pulling of numbers and incidents from the Wikipedia article on the war. It is essentially just common historical knowledge that has been repackaged.
