That would be a snooze fest wouldn't you think?
Old guys with bad hair getting excited about people who died hundreds of years ago... or Nazi's. It would be a snooze fest indeed I can imagine.
How much do you want to bet that the producers find a way to spice things up so that the historians/actors make Da Vinci Codesque “discoveries” involving scandal or intrigue during the course of the shooting?

Well then it would be theater and not history wouldn't it? I mean really, how thrilling is it to research in archives and write papers?
