I think this poll was lost in the great crash, so I thought I would repost it. Anyway my vote is still for the Civil war.
I still picked the GWOT. They may not be as much a threat right now as what this country has experienced in the past, but they could be if we don't do anything about it.
Interesting because I still picked the American Revolution and the Civil War. I think with the War On Terror the U.S. would continue to exist even in the face of a major disaster (e.g. nuclear bomb going off in an urban area), but the American Revolution and the Civil War could have led to a dissolution of the United States as we know it today.
I have to agree with Phid, the civil war and the revolution (especially the revolution) could easily have gone the other way and things would have been much different now.
