I saw somewhere that Obama may seek a third term. I realize this is borderline conspiracy theory, but I thought I'd throw this out there.
Obama is a fast becoming a dictator. I would not be surprised if he doesn't try to find a way to run a third time, and if he is unsuccessful, he will manufacture a nationwide crisis to implement martial law to suspend the constitution and remain in power indefinitely.
He would have to come out in the open extra-constitutional means to do so. I don't think he is quite there yet and am not sure if he will ever get there.
FWIW, I saw someone on Daily Kos mention that Obama could come out toward the end of his term by acknowledging that he was never lawfully elected to a second term, have Biden fill out the remainder of his term, and then win election in 2016. Or something like that.
