Didn't the round of eight at the NCAA men's basketball tournament used to be called the Great Eight? I have not paid attention to basketball for at least 20 years bt I seem to remember it being called the Great Eight. All the news stories I am seeing about the Arizona loss are calling it the Elite Eight though.http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/students-pose-selfies-post-final-4-riot-article-1.1739624
Yes, I agree with you. I thought it was called the Great Eight. I guess I haven't been paying enough attention to hear that it was changed to the Elite Eight. Who knows? The change may have been made by CBS Sports, which controls the television rights to the games. Apparently, other TV stations can't even show highlights until the day after the game(!).

Good thing I don't care about Basketball. A couple of friends of mine are going crazy on Facebook right now and all I do is laugh. 😀
I didn’t pick Kentucky to win it in any of my brackets this year. I read up on bracket strategies, and I learned that so many people would be picking UK that it would be really hard to compete against those brackets. Therefore, it’s better to pick an upset somewhere along the line which then gives you an advantage over the people who did choose UK.
In a few brackets, I picked Arizona to win it all.
I picked Kentucky to win in in several brackets this year as well. I think I had Gonzaga win it in another bracket. Apparently Gonzaga has the easiest chance of any #1 seed to make it to the Final Four.
