I just made a longer post about this, but I wanted to hear what others thought:
Faced with mounting problems posed by multiple powerful foes, he made a cunning move that leveled them both while leaving himself relatively unscathed.
Did Trump just pull off one of the most brilliant political maneuvers in U.S. history?
What do you think about what he did?
I figured when he tweeted this that there must have been some evidence he based it on. And the media is going to try to cover it up.
The two issues are now likely to be linked together: Trump/Russia and wiretapping of Trump or his associates. If the media pushes the Trump/Russia connection without referencing wiretap evidence, it is a weaker case. If the media pushes the Trump/Russia connection and points to the wiretapping in support of the allegation, then the issue becomes one of Obama spying on political opponents.
It seems to me that Trump created a double-edged sword for the Democrats/MSM by doing this.
“It seems to me that Trump created a double-edged sword for the Democrats/MSM by doing this.”
I see this, you see this, but it all depends on how the media is reporting it. They so easily twist and influence the narrative. Right now I see them blaming multiple Trump cabinet members/appointees as having contact with Russia during the campaign. So they are going to use that as their “proof” that wiretapping was necessary.
The MSM are just absolute pathological liars. And they still wield great power over the masses. Why people still trust them goes beyond common sense and logic. But they do. Sad.
