I never thought I'd like it this much. It makes me want to learn more. I regret waiting so long to learn it, but better late than never. Now if only I'd spend more time on the assignments instead of researching all the other stuff that's not part of the assignment. ;DI have more questions than anything. Who were the Sea Peoples? Who were the first terrorists? (the Assyrians). Don't be surprised if I change majors.

Talk to me first before you dive into History please I beg of you. 🙂 Minor in it or double major, but don't depend on it alone.

Looks like you got what I've been experiencing the past few years, making me dive into the studies. I could tell you about how I would go off reading on periphery topics in 18th Century English history when I was trying to organize a presentation on a specific topic. There were just too many amazing things....certainly makes you want to go and visit the places that time may have forgotten, but which our history books have not...
Yeah, I suppose I can see how a person can get burnt out on just about anything. It's why it's good to have balance in one's life (not that you don't, but I'm just saying). Donnie, did you decide to go on to grad school in history straight out of college? For me, I've had the experience of having come around to history rather than having it be something which I did in a straight line from college. It's allowed me to view the study of history from the “outside”, so to speak, so I know how much more fun it can be than other things in life.

Yeah I knew what I was going to do straight out of high school.....save for the stop at the seminary in between undergrad and grad school. Had to get that out of my system I suppose.
