So some of the oldest people still living – those born way back in the nineteenth century (around the time William McKinley was being held aloft a gigantic golden coin), were interviewed and asked what they thought was responsible for their old age:

Let’s boil down the list of items that they gave:
- Sushi
- Eight-hours sleep/night
- Relaxing
- Kindness
- God
- No drinking/smoking
- Good night’s sleep
Interestingly, I feel like when I’ve read this kind of thing in the past, I’ve seen at least one person attribute his longevity to drinking whisky. But to each his (or her) own. Anyway, there you have it: some words of wisdom from those who have lived their share of years – and then some!
