Do you ever have the thought, “Oh I wish I could go back in time to see event X, person Y, or place Z”? I've thought this – many times. From the glory of ancient Rome to the grandeur of Renaissance Florence to the patriotism of Colonial Boston, I think it would be quite awesome to catch a glimpse of previous ages.In the future, I imagine people will feel the same way about our own age. People in 2100 or beyond will look back at us and have the same thoughts and interests in our own time.Query: What people, places, or events do you think people of the future would want to visit most in our present age if they could travel back in time?
I think they will probably want to see/visit the same places/people/events we would. I dont think interest will fade for early historical periods or even more rescent periods of our own history. There will no doubt be more interest in things that we have seen, such as Vietnam, the civil rights movement, and maybe even the war on terror. Maybe some would like to see what is was like to be in New York on September 11.
