The rug in the Oval Office at the White House typically changes during the tenure of different presidents, and this site shows you many of those rugs since the early part of the twentieth century:http://www.whitehousemuseum.org/west-wing/oval-office-history.htmIt's interesting to see the photographs.  I did not know that there was a fire in the West Wing in 1929, but it has a B&W photo of the work being done to fix the room after the fire.  All in all, I think I like the rug during Clinton's presidency most.
